Keeper Coffee at 4515 SE 41st Ave opened in a largely unchanged 1920s building in Woodstock in 2019, building a cottagecore reputation around excellent Coava beans, house-baked pastries like rose pistachio shortbread and peach hand pies, and a barista team that includes national barista competition finalists. PDX Monthly consistently lists it among the city's best, and the second Milwaukie City Hall location that opened in 2025 confirms the brand's standing. Reed College students and remote workers fill the small tables most days.
