Wife and Husband

Established in 2015 by Ikumi and Kyoichi Yoshida on the banks of the Kamo River in Kita Ward, Wife and Husband is part antique shop, part roastery, part coffee picnic outfitter. The couple roasts and sells single-origin beans from five countries and makes a house blend called Daughter, while offering a unique picnic service to enjoy coffee by the river with a thermos, basket of treats, and folding chairs. Honey-and-blue-cheese toast is the one food item and it has become iconic among regulars.
