Founded in 1930, Torrefazione Cannaregio is the last working roastery with a bar in Venice's historic center, located along Fondamenta dei Ormesini near the Jewish Ghetto. The vintage 1940s roasting drum is still in daily use, visible from the bar. The roastery offers single-origin Arabicas, a house blend, and the Miscela del Ghetto created to mark the 500th anniversary of the Venetian Ghetto. Exposed brick, wooden beams, and the smell of fresh-roasted coffee make this a genuine neighborhood institution.
