Okaffe Kyoto

Okaffe Kyoto operates both a roastery and a sit-down cafe near Karasuma Shijo, sourcing and roasting its own beans in-house for espresso-forward drinks as well as careful filter pours. The compact space near Shinmeicho is a favourite with locals for the directness of its single-origin espresso programme and the approachable staff who will walk customers through the current roasts. A second Arashiyama branch has since opened, testament to the shop's strong following in the city.
