Mimo occupies a small unit on Rua Senador Vergueiro in Flamengo and has built a devoted following through consistently excellent cappuccinos and an unusually good chai latte made from whole spices rather than powder mixes. The pao de queijo and house cookies are made fresh daily and pair well with a single-origin espresso from whichever Brazilian lot is on rotation. The staff are known for being genuinely enthusiastic rather than performatively serious.
