Opened in 2005 at 52 rue de l'Hotel de Ville, La Cafeotheque was among the first Paris addresses to champion specialty single-estate coffee and remains a remarkable institution. Founder Gloria Montenegro curates a rotating menu of single-origin beans from across the world, roasted on-site and prepared in virtually every method from espresso through Turkish. The lushly decorated rooms and the on-site barista and coffee sommelier school have shaped a generation of Parisian coffee professionals.
