Espressolab opened its flagship Roastery in Merter in September 2022 as a 6,000-square-metre coffee experience centre described as Europe's largest. The facility combines live roasting and packaging operations with a full cafe floor, workshops on brewing techniques, and cultural programming. Direct-trade relationships with farms in Ethiopia, Brazil, Guatemala, and Kenya underpin the coffee program. An ambitious project that makes a strong case for Istanbul as a global specialty coffee capital.
