Pouring beans from Congregation Coffee Roasters
Congregation Coffee Roasters, founded by Patrick Brennan, established its reputation as a meticulous specialty roaster before reopening and expanding into multiple New Orleans locations. The Uptown cafe at 900 Jefferson Avenue, opened in July 2025 in a former CC's Coffee House within a Victorian building at the corner of Magazine and Jefferson, serves the roastery's rotating single-origin offerings alongside pastries from Ralph Brennan Bakery. Congregation's resurrection after a period of closure became a story of local perseverance, and the Uptown space reflects the brand's commitment to quality without pretense. Rotating filter and espresso menus keep regulars returning to discover what is on the grinder.
