Opened in 2021 by Florent Marcault and Ella McElroy at 14 rue Chappe, just below Sacre-Coeur, Clove is the rare Montmartre cafe that earns the neighbourhood's tourist footfall while remaining a genuine local haunt. Ella's ceramic cups, made by hand for the shop, give the multi-roaster bar a tactile identity that extends to the pastries: chewy cookies, cardamom rolls, and a flan that regularly sells out by noon. This is specialty coffee delivered with real warmth.
