Westberlin on Friedrichstrasse near Checkpoint Charlie opened in 2012 as one of the earliest specialty coffee addresses in Berlin's south Mitte area, pairing serious coffee with a carefully curated shop of international design magazines and Berlin books. The all-day menu of homemade cakes, sandwiches, and rotating lunch specials has made it a genuine neighborhood anchor over more than a decade. An original on the Berlin scene that still earns its keep.
