Owner Raoul Adwan launched thrd coffee as a mobile cart in 2020 before opening a permanent Bucktown space at 1816 N Milwaukee Ave in 2023 after three years of pop-ups. The shop partners with local Chicago roasters to offer a rotating specialty menu with housemade syrups and a focused espresso approach. The Bucktown location runs Tuesday through Sunday and has built a loyal community following in a densely specialty-saturated corridor.
