The Normal on Renai Road in Da'an is the neighbourhood-bar sibling of All Day Roasting Company, conceived as a place for time-pressed Taipei residents to access world-class coffee without ceremony. Co-owner Kai Hsiang has described it as intentionally ordinary in format so the coffee can speak for itself. Featured in Sprudge's definitive Taipei guide, it fills steadily through commuter hours and into the afternoon.
