One of Milan's earliest specialty-and-food crossover venues, Taglio opened in 2013 on Via Vigevano near the Navigli and built a reputation for correctly pulled espresso and filter coffee served alongside a deli offering of sandwiches, natural wines, and provisions. The Chemex programme rotates through roasters including St. Ali, Allpress, and Small Batch, making it one of the few places in the city where pour-over selection gets serious editorial attention. Sprudge covered it as a landmark of the city's early specialty awakening.
