Stable Coffee operates within the M50 Creative Park, a converted textile mill on Moganshan Lu that houses galleries and studios and is one of Shanghai's original creative cluster destinations. The cafe is connected to a tattoo parlor that predates the specialty coffee boom, giving it an embedded community character distinct from the Xuhui bar scene. The industrial courtyard setting provides one of the better outdoor seating areas in Putuo.
