Metric Coffee founders Xavier Alexander and Darko Arandjelovic spent three years converting a 12,000-square-foot former Avondale antiques warehouse into this all-day cafe, bakery and roastery that opened in September 2025. ModBar espresso modules, a PourSteady PS2 pour-over station, and carved brick archways create a space that Sprudge called one of the city's top cafe openings of the year. The full kitchen serves seasonal food and wine alongside specialty coffee roasted on-site.
