Metropolis relocated their roasting operations to 3057 N Rockwell in Avondale in 2015, and the roastery cafe offers a production-adjacent coffee experience available Monday through Friday. Friday origin tours led by the Production Manager walk visitors through three roasting areas and the packing process, then conclude with a full cupping session with the head roaster. Retail bags roasted to order for local pickup make this a genuine source destination rather than a conventional cafe stop.
