Kurasu, the Kyoto-based specialty roaster with one of Japan's most respected filter coffee programs, opened its Bangkok cafe in 2019 inside Bambini Villa on Athakravi 1, bringing Japanese precision pour-over culture to the Phrom Phong neighborhood. The in-house Bangkok Blend espresso is roasted locally to suit Thai weather and palate preferences, while the filter bar showcases Kurasu's Kyoto-sourced seasonal lots. Japanese-style milk toast made with a local bakery and a beautifully minimal space complete the experience.
