Horiguchi Coffee is one of Japan's most respected specialty roasters, founded in Tokyo in 1990 and recognized as a pioneer of Japan's third wave. The Yuanmingyuan Lu location opened in 2017 as the company's fourth cafe and first outside Japan, making Shanghai the chosen site for the brand's overseas debut. Drip preparation follows the same exacting attention applied at their Tokyo shops.
