Highwire launched in Rockridge in 2011 and has become one of the East Bay's most reliable independent roasters, roasting out of a facility in Emeryville and pouring in the iconic Rockridge Market Hall steps from the BART station. The cafe is built around approachable, balanced cups -- carefully sourced single origins and seasonal blends that never chase trend at the expense of drinkability. Sidewalk seating along College Avenue makes it a neighborhood anchor as much as a destination.
