Maren Ernst opened this minimalist roastery-café in 2014 as Cologne's first dedicated specialty roaster, and it remains the benchmark. Light roasts from traceable single origins are served through espresso and filter in a stripped-back Südstadt space that lets the coffee do the talking. A second location operates on Weyertal in the university quarter.
