An intimate owner-operated roastery and café at Akazienstraße 22 in Schöneberg, Double Eye was co-founded by two-time world barista champion Arno Schmeil and his partner Andy, bringing over 50 years of combined roasting and preparation experience to a modest corner room. More than 50 hand-roasted coffee varieties are available, sourced directly from small family farms with a focus on sustainability and social equity. Its quiet residential setting and championship-grade pedigree make it one of Berlin's most authentic and under-visited specialty gems.
