Opened in 2024 by Chui May San after she left a corporate career, Double Check sources its coffee from Afloat in Kuala Lumpur and brings a bold, graphic visual identity inspired by classic American hip-hop culture to a George Town heritage shopfront. The bright orange exterior is immediately distinctive on Jalan Pintal Tali, and both espresso and pour-over are on offer. An entirely owner-operated project with genuine personality.
