Docena opened at Guevara 356 in Chacarita to immediate acclaim for its glass-ceilinged space that floods with natural light at any hour. The kitchen, bakery, and coffee bar operate as a single coherent offering: medialunas, cornstarch alfajores, financiers, and housemade ice cream are all executed at the level the specialty coffee deserves. This is one of the most thoughtfully conceived cafe openings Chacarita has seen in recent years.
