Coyote Roastery
Sakyo · Kyoto
Pouring beans from Coyote
Coyote's third branch, opened March 2024 near Demachiyanagi Station, is the roastery arm of a company founded by Yusuke Kadokawa, who built direct relationships with El Salvadoran coffee farmers in Chalatenango before bringing the beans to Japan. The glass-facade storefront slides fully open to the street, the interior built from split-log benches and pale cedar tables, and a 15kg Easyster roaster installed soon after opening. Highlighted in Sprudge's 2024 Kyoto guide as one of the city's most exciting new arrivals.
