Pouring beans from Café La Mancha
Café La Mancha occupies a high-ceilinged room inside the historic 1907 Steinvorth Building on Avenida Central in downtown San Jose, giving the city''s specialty-coffee movement an anchor in its heritage architectural core. Owner Alberto sources beans directly from individual Costa Rican producers, packages them with photographs of the farmers, and runs hands-on brewing workshops on site. V60, AeroPress, and espresso are prepared by skilled baristas who treat each preparation as a teaching moment. The ornate glass roof and archways make this one of the most visually distinctive specialty venues in the Central American region.
