One of Shanghai's oldest specialty roasters, open since 2012, Cafe del Volcan was founded by Latin American coffee enthusiasts who source beans directly from producers in Guatemala (including the founder's family estate), Colombia, and Costa Rica. The Yongkang Road location is the original and doubles as a retail roastery with barista training. A second branch has opened on Wuding Lu.
