BlendIn was founded by Weizhong Zhang, a biochemist-turned-coffee-roaster who won the 2024 US Brewers Cup Championship, and its Allen Parkway location operates one of the country's few SCA premier training campuses. Every coffee is traceable to a specific lot and evaluated before roasting in-store, and the team hosts ongoing workshops on manual brewing, sensory development, and green coffee education. This is where Houston's most technically rigorous coffee culture lives.
