Coral Sword is a neighborhood games cafe in the East End co-founded by Greenway Coffee's David Buehrer alongside former Giants outfielder Hunter Pence and comic creator Ming Chen, combining Greenway-roasted specialty coffee with board games, Magic: The Gathering, Dungeons and Dragons, and a full menu of pizza, beer, and wine. Open until 10 or 11 p.m. most nights, it is one of Houston's most original third-place concepts and a genuine community hub on Telephone Road.
