Opened in 2024 by expert baker Kyosuke Fuji directly across from Shitennoji, Osaka's oldest Buddhist temple, Aun pairs a Guatemala, Ethiopia, and Brazil blend espresso on a Sanremo Zoe machine with house-made chocolate chip cookies, butter scones, and pound cakes. The temple garden views and pet-friendly policy make it a destination rather than a pass-through cafe. A new in-house roastery was in development for 2025, setting up an even more self-contained offering.
