Amor Perfecto is Colombia''s longest-running independent specialty coffee company, founded in Bogota in 1997 by Luis Fernando Velez, who pioneered direct-sourcing relationships with Colombian farms before the concept had a name. The Medellin outpost inside Mercado del Rio brings the company''s award-winning certified-specialty-grade beans to one of the city''s most vibrant food halls. Coffees scoring above 80 SCA points are standard across the menu, with aeropress preparation particularly suited to the fruitier Nariño lots.
