Founded by Lee Ayu Chuepa, a son of the Akha hill tribe community in Mae Chan, Akha Ama connects the cafe directly to the growers. All coffee comes from the Maejantai village cooperative in Chiang Rai, giving every cup a traceable northern Thai provenance. The Old City shop sits in a heritage lane and feels like a living expression of the farm-to-cup concept. A favourite for travellers who want to understand the supply chain behind their filter.
