Established in Belo Horizonte in 2011 by Bruno Souza, a fourth-generation coffee producer and Q-Grader, Academia do Cafe expanded to Rua Fradique Coutinho 914 in Vila Madalena in 2017. All espresso orders use a double shot of estate-grown Fazenda Esperanca beans, and the cafe also runs SCA-certified courses on site. A Minas Gerais cheese pairing with espresso is a house signature.
