Six young entrepreneurs with a background in theater and arts restored the 1867 Kirtsi-Han building in Valaoritou and opened Ypsilon in 2017 as an all-day cultural space. Coffee, cocktails, a short food menu, and a rotation of exhibitions and events occupy a grand neoclassical interior with high ceilings, and the formula has attracted 17K Instagram followers and strong word-of-mouth among both locals and visitors. The setting alone justifies a visit even before the specialty espresso.
