Vete-Katten
Norrmalm · Stockholm
Vete-Katten has anchored Kungsgatan 55 since 1928, making it one of Stockholm's oldest continuously operating cafés and an undisputed fika institution. The name is a Swedish pun meaning both wheat cat and I have no idea, and the multilevel interior with waitstaff in traditional dress has changed little in nearly a century. Hundreds of litres of coffee brewed daily alongside a vast selection of traditional pastries make every visit feel like stepping into Stockholm's baking heritage.
