Housed in a 1927 colonial bungalow on Jalan Galloway, VCR put KL on the third-wave map and has appeared on multiple Asia Top 50 Cafe lists. Founder Andrew Lee roasts in-house with a rotating seasonal menu of fruit-forward African and bright Latin American single origins. The weekend brunch menu draws long queues, but the coffee is the real anchor. The original flagship remains the benchmark against which every new KL specialty cafe measures itself.
