Taproom Coffee has anchored the Kirkwood neighborhood since 2014, built around a rotating guest-roaster program that changes every two months to feature specialty roasters from across the United States. The house roaster is Opo Coffee, founded by Taproom's original owner, while the guest slots have introduced Kirkwood to roasters from Chicago, Portland, and Brooklyn. The combination of coffee craft and craft beer on tap in the same casual space has made Taproom a neighborhood institution.
