Sweven launched in 2019 on North Street and built a reputation for its boutique collection of rare and exquisite coffees, sourcing and roasting all beans in-house with an emphasis on sustainability and small producers. The Nordic-inflected filter bar rotates its single-origin line-up regularly and supplements house roasts with occasional guest selections. Cakes from local makers and a calm neighbourhood atmosphere have made it a Bedminster anchor.
