Founded in 2013 by two-time U.S. Brewers Cup champion Andy Sprenger, Sweet Bloom is widely considered the standard-bearer for specialty coffee in Colorado. The Lakewood roastery cafe is less than two miles from Denver proper and operates with a socially conscious sourcing model that regularly brings coffee farmers to Colorado to meet the people drinking their work. The brew bar covers an unusually wide range of manual methods, making it a destination for filter coffee enthusiasts.
