Refuge operates as a daytime coffeehouse and evening cocktail bar in the former Penny Quarter space on Westheimer, serving Tenfold-roasted coffee and Love Croissants pastries from 9 a.m. before transitioning to a full cocktail program by evening. The space is a collaboration from the team behind Tongue Cut Sparrow and pairs serious hospitality with a design-forward interior. Coffee service runs Tuesday through Sunday mornings, making it one of Montrose's more distinctive hybrid destinations.
