A queer-owned, veteran-owned, and disabled-owned gathering space at 139 9th Street in Gowanus, Principles GI was founded by former Marine and bassoonist Katie Bishop as a rabble-rousing community hub for cyclists, coffee geeks, and anyone who falls outside conventional social spaces. Pay-what-you-wish coffee and rotating bean selections make it one of the most distinct cafe concepts in Brooklyn.
