Hidden on the third floor of the historic 1911 Hulbe-Haus above Mönckebergstrasse, OMEN is Hamburg's most surprising specialty address - accessible by lift through the Thomas i Punkt clothing store. Run by Chris Balz, the cafe uses JB Kaffee as its anchor roaster with rotating guest single-origin espressos and filters. A magazine-lined fourth floor adds an editorial reading-room dimension to the experience.
