Moyee Coffee opened its Nairobi roastery and cafe at Bishan Plaza on Mpaka Road in Westlands, led by two-time Kenyan Barista Champion Tess. The FairChain model roasts East African Arabica at origin rather than shipping green coffee overseas, keeping more value in the producing country. The Westlands space functions as both a working roastery and a public cafe, serving precision-brewed coffees from Kenyan and East African single origins. The operation represents one of the more globally connected specialty coffee presences in Nairobi.
