Claimed as the first specialty coffee shop in Anjos, Malabarista is run by a couple of former baristas who source from Lisbon-based Olisipo and Barcelona's Right Side Coffee, rotating single origins through an espresso and filter menu. Homemade cinnamon rolls and cheesecakes accompany the coffee, and the vibe is firmly neighbourhood rather than tourist. Some tables are marked laptop-free, keeping the focus on the cup.
