Founded by Gregory Trouillet and his Korean wife in 2020, Kiwa takes its name from the decorative roof tiles of traditional Korean architecture, a motif reproduced in ceramic above the bar. The riverside location on Quai Antoine Riboud faces the Place Nautique de Confluence in one of Lyon's most design-forward districts. An exclusive house blend of Brazilian and Ethiopian beans was developed with French roaster Extrait, and the menu extends to Korean-inspired bingsu desserts and specialty house-made creams.
