Chef Jeffrey Finkelstein opened Hof Kelsten in 2013 bringing a resume that includes Per Se, The French Laundry, and Noma to a Mile End bakery-deli that has become indispensable to the neighbourhood. The espresso program is treated with the same seriousness as the babka and croissants, making it one of the few spots in Montreal where coffee and pastry are equally exceptional.
