Grains
Croix-Rousse · Lyon
Pouring beans from Placid Roasters
Opened by Marion Bohe of Le Desjeuner and Maria, Grains occupies a sober stone-and-bench facade at the top of the Grande Cote garden on Rue Jean-Baptiste-Say. Everything is to-go: coffees made with Placid Roasters beans, homemade granola, sandwiches under seven euros, and a small retail shelf with Kodama chocolate, artisan syrups, and teas. The stripped-back, bright interior makes it one of the purest expressions of Croix-Rousse's morning coffee culture.
