Tucked into the Amalienpassage between Türkenstrasse and Amalienstrasse since 2009, Gartensalon is one of the most distinctive interiors in the Maxvorstadt: pink walls, cascading plants, handmade cakes displayed at the counter, and a courtyard that fills with regulars on warm afternoons. Coffee is espresso-based and the sourcing is thoughtful, though the room is as much about the homemade Kuchen and the unhurried pace as it is about the cup. Cash only.
