Disciple Roasters occupies a quiet backstreet off Sydney Road and serves only black coffee, with up to 15 single-origin beans on the board at any given time. Founder Marwin Shaw sources directly and seasonally from growers worldwide, running the cellar door with minimal intervention so each origin speaks clearly. There is no milk here by design, making it one of Melbourne's most uncompromising and rewarding pure-coffee experiences.
