Somerville's beloved fueling station since 1999, Diesel occupies a sprawling industrial space in Davis Square with old bicycles, road signs, and vintage red booths that define a certain era of New England cafe culture. Beans are sourced from Intelligentsia, and the menu extends to house-made soups, naturally leavened bread, and a curated pastry selection using local ingredients. Pool tables, a photo booth, and an ice cream bar make it one of the most complete community hubs in Greater Boston.
