Founded in 2014 and operating from a narrow sapphire-blue shopfront on Buccleuch Street near the University of Edinburgh, Cult Espresso built its reputation as a venue for coffee nerds before rebranding as Cult Coffee Roasters. The seasonal single-origin programme draws from UK and European specialty importers, and the retail shelf stocks a well-curated range of brewing equipment alongside the rotating bean selection.
